Martha Miller

Martha Miller is an accomplished public policy and government affairs executive with a strong track record of advising corporations, organizations, and stakeholders on legislative and regulatory strategy. As President of Platinum San Francisco, she leads the firm's day-to-day operations and lobbying efforts, serving a diverse portfolio of clients at the state, regional, and local level.

Martha is widely recognized as a leader in the supply chain and logistics sector. As Executive Director of the California Association of Port Authorities (CAPA), she directs the organization's state and federal government relations and communications strategies on behalf of California's public ports. Under her leadership, CAPA secured a historic $1.2 billion investment in port and freight infrastructure, advancing a more efficient, sustainable, and resilient goods movement system across the state.

Prior to joining Platinum, Martha served as Regional Government Affairs Director for Target, where she managed the company's advocacy portfolio across the Western region, including California. During her tenure, she played a central role in launching the first-ever City Target stores in complex urban markets, including San Francisco and Los Angeles. Before that she managed the state and local advocacy portfolio for Gap Inc.

Martha’s leadership has been widely recognized. She was named one of the Most Influential Women in Business by the San Francisco Business Times and later inducted into its Forever Influential Hall of Fame. She was also honored as part of the publication’s 40 Under 40 class, recognizing her impact as a leader in business and policy. She currently serves on the Board of the Bay Area Council.

She is a graduate of California State University, Chico.
